I literally could not distill a single thing from your comment. If hate mobs aren’t new, then why is characterizing a new episode of them as such a bad thing? If your disagreement is with the conceit that the anti-Contra rhetoric is bad, then voice that, but I’m not making a claim to it either. I’m merely using my passif as having researched Gamergate extensively to establish a connection between the two, and show that harassment movements operate roughly on the same tactics, regardless of who the victims and perpetrators are.
