In the interest of positive humanity, I think there are a whole ton of tech entrepreneurs one could look up to — like Ellen Pao, Alex Stamos and Anil Dash just to name a few.

I’ve long exercised restraint when I saw Musk speaking out of step, but we have to be honest with ourselves and recognize that when a supposedly intelligent person keeps saying stupid things, they automatically revoke their right to be called genius. Silicon Valley has already had its fill tech entrepreneurs breaking things because they couldn’t stomach otherwise being wrong (Zuckerberg is a good example of this) and we shouldn’t allow Musk leeway to do whatever he likes just because he founded a semi-successful auto company.
