The subtext of the piece is basically saying that you shouldn’t take Jordan Peterson’s life advice as an extension of his academic background. Because of his asinine views on forced monogamy, eating only beef (which will completely wreck your lower digestive system), among so much else, it puts a dent into his reputation as a problem solver.
What my write-up seeks to illuminate, is that even someone who purportedly solves the problem of others, isn’t above reaching out for help. I didn’t put it in explicit terms, but that’s me basically saying he should take the criticism of leftist academics more seriously — not just discard it as “liberal identity politics” or whatever is the recent popular term for describing something left-leaning that you disagree with.
